Lazy bag for Excess 15 Incidence Sails

The Incidence Sails Lazy bag for Excess 15 is a protective cover designed to make storing your catamaran’s mainsail easier. Installed around the sail when it is lowered and flaked, it helps protect the mainsail while simplifying sail handling and storage after sailing.

Designed for use in the marine environment, this Lazy Bag for Excess 15 helps limit the mainsail’s exposure to UV rays, sea spray and moisture. It is therefore a practical solution for protecting your sail and helping extend its service life.

Two material options are available to suit different preferences and onboard requirements: Sunbrella® acrylic or reinforced polyester.

Sunbrella® Acrylic Lazy bag

The Sunbrella® acrylic version is particularly suitable for prolonged outdoor use. This fabric is renowned for its resistance to UV rays and harsh marine conditions.
Its breathable structure promotes air circulation and moisture evaporation, helping to reduce the risk of mould when the mainsail remains stored inside the Lazy Bag.
The fabric also features transparent PVC reinforcements, providing additional resistance to the stresses associated with regular use on board.

Reinforced Polyester Lazy bag

The reinforced polyester version focuses on strength and resistance to mechanical stress. It provides good resistance to chafing, rubbing and abrasion encountered during manoeuvres and everyday use on board.
This material also offers good UV resistance and a degree of elasticity, while remaining easy to maintain. However, it is less breathable than Sunbrella® acrylic.

Colours and Customisation

The Lazy Bag is available in several colours, allowing you to match the mainsail cover with the overall appearance of your Excess 15. Please indicate your preferred colour by referring to the colour chart.
A custom marking option is also available at an additional cost.
