The Grippy Heavy mooring buoy is designed to simplify and secure anchoring operations. Its line is attached to the anchor crown and automatically deploys when the anchor reaches the seabed. The line length self-adjusts according to the water depth, keeping the buoy vertically aligned with the anchor and allowing precise location.
At night, the buoy automatically activates its solar-powered light beacons for optimal visibility. In the event of a stuck anchor, it can be easily released by pulling on the line, which has a breaking load of 1200 kg. When retrieving the anchor, the line rewinds automatically, and the buoy positions itself under the bow of the boat.
For added convenience, the Grippy Heavy is equipped with a railing mount and a removable light beacon, combining safety, comfort, and ease of use for all your anchoring operations.
