Battten box Ø 16 – M12 – Incidences Sails – Set of 2

The Ø 16 – M12 Luff & Leech Batten Box by Incidences Sails is designed to securely attach sail battens on mainsails of cruising yachts, such as the Nautitech 44/46 Open. This system improves sail stability and optimizes the sail’s profile for more precise sailing.

The kit includes two batten boxes:

• Luff-side batten box: features an M12 brass thread for direct attachment to a car. The box is fastened with 2 × 4 screws, ensuring a solid hold on the sail.

• Leech-side batten box: fully drilled to Ø 16 mm to accommodate the batten. Equipped with a plastic adjustment screw and a locking pin, it secures the batten even in rough seas.

Made from durable, marine-grade materials, this kit resists moisture, UV exposure, and corrosion. Easy to install, it allows quick and secure batten attachment for a well-tensioned, high-performance sail. This configuration ensures precise sail shaping.
