Personal AIS MOB2 Beacon Class M Compliant OceanSignal

Ocean Signal AIS beacons are personal safety devices designed to be integrated into an inflatable lifejacket. In the event of a man overboard, they automatically transmit an AIS (Automatic Identification System) alert to nearby vessels, as well as a DSC (VHF) alert to compatible radios.

The beacon offers an AIS range of up to 5 nautical miles and a transmission duration of 24 hours. Compact and lightweight (92 g), it can be activated automatically when the lifejacket inflates or manually. It is compatible with major lifejacket brands on the market, including Spinlock Deckvest, VITO, and DURO.

They also provide valuable visual signals in a man-overboard situation. In addition, they are waterproof up to 10 meters and feature a battery with a 7-year lifespan. The beacons are supplied installed and ready to use. The MOB2 goes further with two-way DSC technology, NFC connectivity for smartphones (MMSI programming, test history), and Class M compliance for regulated areas.
