The KF4.5 Standard is a high-performance furler designed for sailboats from 40 to 55 feet. With a working load of 4.5 T, it allows safe furling of additional sails such as the gennaker, Code 0, or staysail directly from the cockpit. Robust, lightweight, and compact, it offers a simple and reliable installation thanks to its included swivel and turret.
Designed by Karver, the KF4.5 Standard represents the third generation of furlers, combining innovation, lightness, and compactness. It features a carbon/Kevlar® ratchet wheel, a reinforced ABS housing protected by a K Krok neoprene cover, a 2-in-1 K Snap carabiner, a remote ratchet locking system, and a swivel also protected by K Krok.
Thanks to these advanced features, you can furl downwind sails directly from the cockpit.
The KF4.5 is one of the lightest and most compact furlers on the market, widely used on offshore racing yachts and performance sailboats such as IMOCA.
