Discover the telescopic stay from Goiot for the Opal and Opal Flush range, the essential holding accessory for your boat deck hatch. This original stay allows precise adjustment of the opening from 0 to 120°, with a full opening capability up to 180°. It is made from anodized aluminium for extreme resistance in marine salt environments.

Please note that sizes T00, T03, and T20 are not compatible with the Opal Flush range.

The telescopic stay is the mechanical component that allows you to operate your deck hatch with precision and safety. On the Opal and Opal Flush ranges, this system prevents the hatch from closing suddenly due to wind or its own weight.

This model stands out for its high flexibility. In standard use, it guides the opening up to approximately 120°. For specific needs (loading, full free passage, or cleaning), it allows the hatch to swing fully open to 180° by simply unscrewing the base of the stay.

Made with an anodized aluminium tube and high-resistance polymer end fittings, this stay is fully resistant to marine corrosion and UV exposure. Its friction or locking knob system (depending on the version) ensures reliable holding, even in rough sea conditions.

It is a component installed between the fixed frame and the opening part (glazing). It allows a standard replacement on your sailboat or catamaran, with no structural modification to the hatch.
