Dyneema textile snap hook M T-Drop

The M T-Drop quick-release spinnaker snap hook is ideal for boat owners looking for a lightweight, safe, and high-performance attachment solution. It is compatible with spinnaker and gennaker sheets, simplifying manoeuvres while reducing loads on the rigging. It also effectively replaces traditional metal snap hooks, especially in light winds or during sporty sailing.

This textile snap hook is based on a robust and highly technical hybrid construction. It combines a pre-stretched Dyneema SK78 48fx rope, known for its very high strength, with a technical polymer connector made of PA Tech Glass 60%, providing rigidity, durability, and excellent resistance to mechanical stress. In addition, the TPE thermoplastic Block ring ensures reliable locking while remaining flexible and easy to handle.

Its intuitive closure system allows for quick operation, even while wearing gloves. Opening under load remains simple and secure, improving responsiveness during sail changes. Compact and ultra-light at only 22 g, it enhances the performance of light sails. Its wide opening also makes it easy to attach to the spinnaker or gennaker clew point.

Attachment is made directly onto the sheet using a hook with a Textile-Block system, sold separately.
