This Tulip vertical turning block is designed for halyard leads and accommodates different entry angles in a compact installation. Available with 45, 60 or 70 mm sheaves, it provides a lightweight, space-saving alternative to traditional turning blocks.
The Tulip vertical turning block is designed for halyard leads and installations requiring different line entry angles. Its sheave features captive ball-bearing side bearings, providing smooth operation while maintaining a compact design.
The Ø60 and Ø70 mm models feature aluminium sheaves with Torlon captive side balls, while the Ø45 mm model also uses a captive ball-bearing side bearing system.
Several turning blocks can be assembled in a bank to accommodate multiple control lines. The maximum recommended lateral deflection is ±20°.
Available in three sheave diameters : 45, 60 and 70 mm, with a working load adapted to each model :
- SWL Ø45 mm : 1000 kg
- SWL Ø60 mm : 2200 kg
- SWL Ø70 mm : 3000 kg
