The Plastimo bilge pump features a telescopic handle for efficient, comfortable pumping. With a flow rate of 0.9 litres per cycle according to the ISO 15083 standard (45 strokes per minute, with a vacuum of 10 kPA), it has a capacity of 40.5 litres per minute. It weighs 0.920 kg and has a Ø 25 mm (1″) hose diameter. Supplied with 2 elbow connections with valve (inlet and outlet), the Plastimo pump is compact, making it easy to install in confined or hard-to-reach spaces. The outlets swivel 360° to adapt to the position of the pump in relation to the strainer and through-hull.
The pump’s integrated handle ensures optimum safety. In the event of a diaphragm leak, the water is directed towards the cockpit rather than into the bilge, enabling immediate detection. Installation and maintenance of the pump is simple, easily done from the cockpit, and the diaphragm can be removed in seconds.
This pump can be replaced in place of the Whale manual pump.
