STORM-BAG® is a complete, fast solution for tackling strong winds in complete safety. Ready to use, it can be installed in a matter of seconds thanks to its three snap hooks. Its special tourmentin provides optimum stability without excessive heeling, even in strong winds, and a model suitable for multihulls is also available.
The STORM-BAG® is a special furling jib furler designed to simplify sailing in strong winds. Pre-fitted with everything you need, such as sheets, tack strop and karabiners, it is easily installed over the furled genoa by simply attaching three karabiners. Once in place, it unfurls like a breeze jib, offering remarkable stability with a low centre of buoyancy, ensuring optimum balance without excessive heeling. This innovative design reduces the sail area exposed to the wind, offering increased control and manoeuvrability.
In 2017, Delta Voiles launched a model specifically adapted to the constraints of multihulls, making the STORM-BAG® versatile for different types of sailboat. Its compact carry bag with handle makes it easy to carry to the front of the boat and provides minimalist storage when the STORM-BAG® is not in use.
