Incidence Sails Ø 16 – M12 batten box delivered in two parts. On one side, it attaches the batten to the leech and luff of your sail. This batten box is compatible with the Nautitech Catamaran 44/ 46 Open.
The complete Ø 16 – M12 batten box kit is designed to securely fasten sail battens to mainsails on pleasure boats like the Nautitech 44/46 Open. This system improves sail handling and optimizes sail profile for more precise sailing.
The kit comprises two housings:
– The housing on the luff side, fitted with an M12 brass thread for screwing directly onto a traveler. This housing is fastened with 2 x 4 screws, guaranteeing a perfect fit on the sail.
– The housing on the leech side, drilled entirely to Ø 16 mm to accommodate the batten. It is fitted with a plastic adjusting screw and a locking pin to secure the batten, even in rough seas.
Made from resistant materials, this kit ensures excellent durability in the face of marine stresses such as humidity, UV and corrosion. Easy to install, it allows fast, secure batten attachment for a taut, high-performance sail. This configuration allows for great precision.
