The Incidences Sails Ø 16 – M10 leech and luff batten housing enables mainsail battens to be securely fastened to sailboats. Designed to accommodate Ø 16 mm battens, this system guarantees a precise and secure hold, even in rough seas. With its M10 thread and adjusting screw, this box ensures optimum tension and rapid installation on your sail.
The Incidences Sails Ø 16 – M10 leech and luff batten housing is a fastening system designed for the mainsails of pleasure boats such as the Nautitech 40 Open. It allows sail battens to be held in place with precision, improving the sail’s profile and sailing performance.
The kit comprises two housings:
- Luff-side housing: fitted with an M10 brass thread, it can be screwed directly onto a cart. It is secured to the sail with 2 x 4 screws.
- Leech-side housing: drilled to Ø 16 mm, it accommodates the batten and features a plastic adjusting screw as well as a locking pin to secure the batten, even in difficult conditions.
Made from corrosion-resistant materials, this system guarantees excellent durability in the face of marine stresses such as humidity, salt and UV rays. Easy to install, it allows you to quickly equip your sails for optimal sailing.
