The Hammar 170N hydrostatic re-arming kit is designed for Spinlock Vito lifejackets (Protect range).
It includes a Hammar MA1 hydrostatic firing mechanism and a 33g CO₂ cylinder. The hydrostatic system ensures activation only when submerged, preventing accidental inflation caused by rain or spray. Proven reliability for offshore sailing. Replacement is recommended every five years, even if unused, to maintain full compliance and optimal performance.
