The 2025 version of the Crewsaver Ergofit 290N Auto lifejacket has been completely redesigned to offer even greater comfort, reliability and practicality. Designed for demanding offshore and inshore sailing, it incorporates 3D Fusion technology to ensure a perfect ergonomic fit, hugging the wearer’s body like a second skin.
Hammar’s automatic release system, activated only when fully immersed, prevents accidental release due to spray. With a buoyancy of 290N, this vest is designed to offer optimum support even with heavy clothing or in extreme conditions. It features a Single Loop harness, a secure Twin Lock buckle, and an adjustable subcutaneous strap for a flawless fit.
The innovation of this version also lies in its simplified closure system, which allows quick access to the rearmament kit (ref. CS-11306) without having to open the entire vest. A significant improvement for on-board maintenance. Passive safety features include a Double Hoop hood, Flash Light Solas and high-visibility reflective strips.
Finally, the Ergofit 290N is compatible with AIS/DSC and PLB beacons (such as sMRT Alert or Kannad McMurdo), ensuring rapid localization in the event of man overboard.
