Carbon Mast and Makefast Mounting

The Makefast Telescopic Carbon Mast (170 to 230 cm) is designed to meet the needs of 30-foot boats with canopies under 5 m², thanks to its 38 mm diameter. It features an internal tensioning system with a pulley and stopper for practical and efficient use. Available in various colors upon request (white, silver, red, blue), it offers aesthetic customization.

To ensure safety and durability, the mast must be securely guyed to the deck eye to balance tension between the front and rear (bolt and backing plate not included). The mast extension should never exceed the red line, and it is important to verify that the collar lever is open before tightening. The canopy should be removed when sailing or in winds exceeding 40 km/h. For longevity, it is recommended to rinse the mast with fresh water after each use.

As an optional accessory, you can include the sock and mounting kit with your order, ensuring simple and quick installation. Once the shade sail is removed, an elegant cover plate can be placed over the mount, providing optimal protection and a polished finish.
