The Rutgerson RC75X rope clutch is designed to use ropes with a diameter of between 8 and 12 mm. Several versions are available: single, double, triple and quintuple to make manoeuvring easier on board your sailing yacht or catamaran.
Rutgerson’s RC75X single rope clutch is available in several versions so you can use several ropes on the same clamp. It holds ropes in place while allowing quick and easy adjustment. The handle is ergonomically designed for easy handling.
These clutches ensure a firm grip on your ropes while offering quick and easy adjustment when needed. A notable feature is the ease of rope handling with the RC75X compared to other clutch, thanks to an integrated low-friction pulley. This ensures that the ropes run smoothly while protecting them from wear and tear.
If you already own an RC75 model but are considering upgrading to a thinner rope diameter, the clutch can be easily upgraded with a replaceable cam available as a spare part. An added benefit is the ability to easily detach the housing from the mounting plate, handy when inserting and removing endless ropes.
The housing, made of high-strength composite, and the mounting plate with cam, made of anodised aluminium, ensure optimum performance in a variety of operating conditions.
