The B&G ForwardScan® long version gives you an exceptional view of the seabed at the bow of your Nautitech 40 Open, 46 Open or 46 Fly catamaran. This equipment for your boat has a 50.8 mm diameter stainless steel through-hull. It adapts to a maximum thickness of 47.6 mm and a maximum angle of inclination of 28 degrees.

A clear view

This transducer offers a forward view of 4 to 5 times the current depth, but can go up to 8 times in optimal conditions. For example, you can see the bottom 12 to 15 metres in front of you in 3 metres of water. Operating at 180 kHz, this sensor minimises interference with conventional 200 kHz sensors.

An intuitive interface

With this equipment, you get a 2D view of the depths in front of your boat, with colour tracking of the bottom representing the relief. You can also display sounder returns over the entire water column, revealing potential dangers. Suitable for yachting, this sounder allows depth data to be superimposed on charts. In this way, it offers a view with colour-coded segments for all types of depth. You can customise the depths to suit your boat’s draught. A shallow alarm completes these features, alerting you to any critical changes.

To complete your installation, the Zeus and Vulcan displays will fit in perfectly. Please check compatibility with your older models via the StructureScan port. To connect Zeus2 systems, FowardScan can be connected with the optional Sonarhub module.
