The B&G NAC-3 autopilot is suitable for boats over 10 metres. With an output of 30 A continuous and 50 A peak, it offers easy connectivity with various components such as rudder angle sensors and control consoles.
The B&G NAC-3 autopilot computer can be fitted to boats of 10 metres (35 feet) or more in length. It can produce a current of up to 30 amps continuous and 50 amps peak, as well as a clutch current of up to 3 amps. It is compatible with high-current equipment such as steering pumps, mechanical power units, cylinders and solenoid valves.
B&G Reflex steering technology, integrated into the NAC-3, ensures intelligent and reliable steering, providing a safe navigation experience. Compatibility with rudder angle sensors is another major advantage of the NAC-3. These sensors, mechanically connected to the helm, provide continuous information on the position of the helm. The B&G Reflex algorithm uses this data to make steering decisions. The NAC-3 supports RF25 angle sensors with SimNet or NMEA 2000® connectivity. It also supports variable frequency rudder angle sensors such as the RF300.
The NAC-3 is compatible with the NMEA 2000® network and NMEA 0183® input.
