B&G’s HALO20+ radar features a compact 20-inch dome antenna for 360° obstacle detection. This applies over a range of distances, covering both short and long ranges. This radar can be installed on medium or large catamarans, such as the Nautitech 44 Open, 46 Open or 46 Fly.
The integration of Doppler VelocityTrack™ technology enables fast and accurate interpretation of radar data, which is then presented with the use of colour coding. With this technology, the radar automatically checks each obstacle or target and displays them all to you, without limit, so you get the full picture. The VelocityTrack™ Doppler function provides indications of the trajectory of detected objects, giving users a better understanding of potential target movements.
The radar is perfect for use even while on standby. It automatically detects obstacles and switches on to begin analysis. What’s more, it switches on quickly in just a few seconds, even when completely switched off.
This makes the HALO20+ radar an essential tool for ensuring safety and controlling risks during your journeys at sea.
