The double block is equipped with two 80 mm sheaves mounted on a plain bearing. This friction system ensures smooth rotation and supports high loads without ball bearings. The cheeks are forged from hard anodized aluminum, which limits deformation under load and effectively protects the sheave. This material choice also provides good resistance to oxidation.
The sheave is made from composite, resistant to corrosion. It operates without bearings, reducing maintenance needs and enhancing reliability in heavy-duty use. The overall design is optimized: the part’s mass is minimized without compromising mechanical strength. The model includes a swivel to allow the block to align freely under load.
