The Downwind Sail Cruising Code Zero Delta Voiles is a lightweight downwind sail, optimized for close-hauled courses. It is perfect for boats equipped with a self-tacking jib. Designed to perform efficiently upwind in winds up to 8 to 10 knots, it remains usable up to 110° of apparent wind in more sustained conditions. This downwind sail thus offers great versatility depending on the sailing conditions. Flatter and smaller than a gennaker, it is particularly suitable for performance-oriented cruising. Made of pre-treated polyester or Mylar® composite for cruising, the sail is constructed with a triradial cut. Additionally, it is mounted on a torsion-free luff, making it compatible with a furler.
Designed for sailors and cruising enthusiasts, this Cruising sail is made from durable materials like Dacron or cruising laminates. It offers good shape retention, ease of use, and great reliability on all points of sail. Ideal for coastal or offshore cruising programs.
