The Downwind Sail Cruising Symmetrical Spi Delta Voiles is designed for downwind sailing (80° to 180° of apparent wind), particularly in trade wind conditions or on long crossings. This downwind sail requires the use of a pole for precise control and adjustment. It is made from Contender nylon, 0.9oz (45g) up to 80m², and 1.5oz (65g) for larger sizes, with a wide range of color options. Star-shaped reinforcements at the three corners and UV-treated stitching ensure durability and strength. A spinnaker sock is available as an option to facilitate hoisting and dousing maneuvers.
Designed for sailors and cruising enthusiasts, this Cruising sail is made from durable materials like Dacron or cruising laminates. It offers good shape retention, ease of use, and great reliability on all points of sail. Ideal for coastal or offshore cruising programs.
