It makes handling and redirecting lines on deck easier and more efficient.Commonly used as a <strong data-start=\"274\" data-end=\"291\">barber hauler<\/strong> to adjust sail trim angles, it can also serve as a <strong data-start=\"343\" data-end=\"364\">genoa sheet block<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to install and remove, even when the rope is under load. Equipped with a low-friction Rutgerson ring and a Dyneema loop, the opening block is suitable for both low-load, high-speed and high-load, low-speed applications.<\/p>\n<p>The low-friction ring, anodised with an impregnated <strong>Teflon<\/strong> coating, offers minimal friction properties.
